CORE COURSES
AWIL college core courses provides learners with the relevant academic and practical inputs necessary for the creation of novel ideas and concepts. Core courses are compulsory for all students as they provide a framework for collaboration between students originating and realizing market-related entertainment content. It is made up of the following five components.
Narrative: Philosophy, Narratology, Critical Studies
Performance: Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology
Medium: Film & Drama Theory, Media Studies, Semiotics
Aesthetics: History of Art, Design, Beauty & Fashion
Control: Marketing, Management, Finance & Entertainment Law
Currently the institution is working on development and registration of other arts programs delimited to fine arts, music and multimedia.
