2019 Graduation

It has been a long difficult journey, but because they dreamt and had the ambition and worked hard, they achieved. This is to say Congratulations to the class of 2019 and wish them well in their future endeavours.  We are proud to say we have a 100% pass rate this year, and our students are industry ready.

When we opened our doors these were the first students to enrol, they are part of who we are now, we as a school and them made each other. They are the first batch of students from AFDA BW/AWIL COLLEGE to graduate with a degree in Motion Picture Medium and in Life Performance. The Post graduates are the second class to graduate with an Hons Degree in Motion Picture Medium and in Life Performance.

They were blessed to have at their graduation ceremony an inspirational young person as a guest of honour who told them that their time is now. She told them to keep a positive mind and never to give up because they will reach their goals. Miss Bogolo Kenewendo encouraged them to embrace and nurture their talents because the film or creative industry is growing rapidly and will soon contribute more to the country’s economy.
